CONVOLUTE.AI PRIVATE LIMITED (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the SmartCleno mobile application (the “Service”), headquartered in Bangalore, India.

Historical Note: SmartCleno was internally codenamed "Smart Media Cleaner AI" during its earlier development phases. Any legacy references to that codename in older materials or cached data refer to this same application.

Your privacy is the foundation of our Service. Our core principle is that all file scanning and analysis happens exclusively on your device. We never see, collect, or transmit your photos or personal files.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not request, collect, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or contacts. You are not required to create an account or provide any personal information to use our Service.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To function, our Service creates and maintains a local database on your device. This database is used solely to manage the file cleaning process and is never transmitted off your device by us. It stores the following metadata about images identified as potential spam:

• File path, file name, and file size.
• The spam probability score assigned by our on-device AI model.
• The status of the file (e.g., 'pending' for review, or 'kept' by you).

This local data allows the app to remember which files have been scanned, show you files for review, and track which files you decide to keep. This data is deleted from the app's database if you clear the app's data or uninstall the application.

3. Information Collected by Third-Party Advertisers (Google AdMob)

To support the free availability of our Service, we display advertisements through Google AdMob. When you use our app, the AdMob SDK may automatically collect certain information for the purpose of serving ads. This may include:

• Device Information: Such as your device’s unique advertising identifier (AAID for Android), device model, and operating system.
• Network Information: Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general geographic location.
• Ad-Related Information: Data about the ads served and your interaction with them.

We, the developers of SmartCleno, do not have direct access to this information. The collection and use of this data are governed by Google's own privacy policy.

4. Use of Collected Data

• Locally Stored Data: Used exclusively to enable the app's features on your device.
• Third-Party Data (Google AdMob): Used for the following purposes:
  • Displaying and personalizing advertisements (Personalized and Non-Personalized Ads).
  • Contextual advertising based on app content or approximate location.
  • Frequency capping (limiting how often you see the same ad).
  • Measuring ad campaign effectiveness and generating reports.

5. Your Choices and Opt-Out Rights

You may control whether your data is used for personalized ads by adjusting your device’s privacy settings:

• For Android: Go to Settings > Google > Ads and enable “Opt out of Ads Personalization”.

Opting out will not eliminate ads, but they will not be targeted based on your activity or interests.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not intended for children under 13 (or the relevant age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from minors. If we become aware that information about a child has been collected inadvertently via ad services, we will act promptly to delete such information as soon as possible. 7. International Data Transfers

We do not transfer any data internationally. However, advertising data managed by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed on servers located outside your country of residence, as governed by Google’s privacy policy.

We are committed to securing the data stored locally within our app's private storage. Data collected by Google AdMob is subject to Google’s robust security practices.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy and updating the "Effective Date". For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice, such as an in-app notification, prior to the change becoming effective. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
